Laguna SMEs Explore China Packing Industry Trends
Guangzhou, 5 March 2025 – The Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou hosted 71 SMEs and officials from Laguna at Sino‑Pack 2025 and PACKINNO 2025, China’s leading packaging expos. Consul General Iric Cruz Arribas noted Guangdong accounts for 41.5% of Philippine–China trade, with imports up 11.4% year‑on‑year. Delegates reaffirmed support for Filipino SMEs entering the Chinese market. As a sister city–province hub within the Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou offers growing export opportunities, and the Consulate, PCIT, DTI‑Laguna, and PCCCI remain committed to assisting Filipino businesses.
