NOTARIAL SERVICES

The Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou may notarize public documents for use in the Philippines by way of Acknowledgement, Jurat or Certifications.  Personal appearance of the applicant is required when applying for notarization.
 
Only applicants who reside within the consular jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou can apply for notarization, which includes the province of Guangdong, Hunan, Hainan and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
 
Accessing this service does not require an appointment.  Applicants may visit us any day, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM, except on holidays.

Requirements

1.  Personal Appearance of the applicant

2.  Duly accomplished form or document

3.  Valid passport or Chinese Identification Card

4.  Other documents, the consulate may require additional document as necessary

5.  For Certifications, additional documents may be required such as but not limited to DFA-apostilled documents (CENOMAR, birth certificate, marriage certificate), original passports, etc.

5.  Payment of applicable consular fees

 

Consular Fees 

RMB190.00 for every document for 3 working days processing

RMB76.00 additional fee for expedited processing for release the following working day

 

Procedures for Notarizing Documents

  1. Document Preparation: Gather all necessary documents that require notarization. Ensure that you have photocopies of each document, along with a valid passport or identification card for verification purposes.
  2. Initial Submission: Proceed to Window 1 to submit your documents. If needed, request a consular form or template for notarization.
  3. Form Completion: Accurately complete the consular form or template, ensuring all the required information are filled. Once finished, return to Window 1 for further processing and to receive additional instructions.
  4. Final Review and Signature: After the documents have been reviewed for completeness and accuracy, you will be asked to sign the document. You will also receive a payment slip indicating the notarization fees.
  5. Payment processing: Proceed to Window 5 to make payment based on the issued payment slip.
  6. Schedule Release: Return to Window 1 for the schedule of release of the notarized documents.The releasing takes 3 working days for regular processing and the following working day for expedited processing. Applicants may choose to claim their documents in person or opt for courier service.
